Party Games: Shakespeare, The Bible, or The Godfather?

I can’t remember where I saw this twist on the popular Shakespeare vs Bible scenario. Was it on a tv show, surfing the internet, or maybe I dreamt it? Either way, this is a fun way to see if you know which famous (or not so famous) quote originated from Shakespeare, The Bible, or The Godfather.

To play this party game:

  1. Divide into teams and alternate questions to see which team gets the most correct answers.

  2. Or, read down the list, letting everyone keep track of their own answers and score at the end.

  3. Have everyone write down S for Shakespeare, B for Bible (see the pattern here) and G for Godfather.

  4. Or, circle the correct answer if you print it out multiple choice style.

The answers are at the end, so you can try it out now and host the game later.
